Intro

Tell me a bit about yourself:

  • What do you do?
  • How long have you been living in London?
  • When did you start riding on bike? WHY? (motivation to ride)
  • Do you have your own bike?

 

  • When did you start using the Barclays Bikes?
  • Why did you decide to use the Barclays Bikes system?

- Which kind of Barclays Bike user are you? (Member or casual user)

  • In which situations do you use the Barclays bikes? Which is the difference of use between your own bike and the Barclays one?

 

 

  • How often do you cycle?
  • When & where do you cycle? Decide a common situation as reference, and focus on this situation in the next questions.

- Which route do you follow to go to “this specific place”? Why?

  • Do you always follow the same route to go “there”? Why or Why not?
  • How did you decided the route? Is it the shorter route, the safer one, the less pollute one, the one with a bike lane, …?
  • Have you always used this route? Why did you change it?
  • Do you normally avoid the busy moments, or the traffic jams or any other situation you don’t like or that you feel less safe by changing your route, or do you face them?
